Jagannath Temple Mysuru
The place was named as NILADRI BIHAR and a small temple was constructed and Pranpratistha of Deities was done in 31 August 2021 by eminent Pandits from Puri. The Deities were carved by eminent artist of Odisha. Thereafter, Daily rituals of Lord Jagannatha commenced immediately including Ratha Yatra of Lords during the month of ASHADHA. The first Ratha Yatra was celebrated during the year 2022 at Mysuru. As days passed by, thousands of devotees visited the temple, not only from local area but also from far distant places to get the blessings of the Lords. With the search of funds to renovate the Mandir a large number of Devotees are joining the organisation as LIFE MEMBERS and offering donations for Construction of main Mandir. For the first time, on date 31 August 2021 in Mysuru, Lord Jagannatha Mandir was set up & was solemnized by the Pandits from Puri & was inaugurated (in its miniature size) in the hands of Ex-Minister Ramdas,.
Establishment of Niladri Bihar
The divine journey of Lord Jagannath in Mysuru began on 31st August 2021, when the sacred Pranpratistha of the Deities was performed by eminent Pandits from Puri. A small temple was constructed and the place was named Niladri Bihar. The idols of the Lords were beautifully carved by renowned artists from Odisha, reflecting the essence of traditional craftsmanship.
Commencement of Rituals
Daily rituals and worship of Lord Jagannath started immediately after the consecration. In a short span of time, the temple became a spiritual hub, celebrating major festivals including the Ratha Yatra during the month of Ashadha. The first grand Ratha Yatra was celebrated in 2022, drawing large gatherings of devotees.
Devotee Participation & Growth
As the temple's presence grew, thousands of devotees began visiting—not only from Mysuru but also from distant places—seeking blessings of the Lords. To support the renovation and future development, many have joined as Life Members and contributed generously to the construction of the main Mandir.
A Historic Milestone
On 31st August 2021, for the first time in Mysuru, Lord Jagannath Mandir was officially inaugurated in a ceremonial event graced by Ex-Minister Ramdas. This moment marked a historic milestone as it became the only Jagannath Mandir in Mysuru.
